Thank you for taking a look at Shields of Faith
Ministries.
Shields of Faith Ministries is a collection of
pastors, chaplains, and churches that have come together to provide spiritual
support to law enforcement personnel. We are always looking for Christian
leaders that have a heart for law enforcement personnel and we invite you to
join us. There are three ways in which you and your church can support your local
law enforcement and this ministry.
- You and your church could become a
Hosting Church. Hosting Churches provide a licensed and ordained
pastor to lead a Fellowship group along side a Law Enforcement Officer/Group
Leader. Also the Hosting Church provides any direct financial costs
generated by the Fellowship Group. (This is very minimal and
controlled by you.
- You and your church could become a
Support Church. Support Churches provide Shields of Faith with
financial support to run the administrative operations that focus
heavily on outreach. (i.e. web hosting, advertising, printed
materials, etc.
- You and your church could become a
Prayer Partner Church. Prayer Partner Churches provide us with a
contact person for prayer requests. Shields of Faith Ministries
recognizes that we could build the greatest program in the world, but
if God is not behind it and the Holy Spirit is not working in the hearts of
those involved, this ministry will be meaningless.
If you meet our requirements (below), we
would like to hear from you. This is an opportunity for you to expand
your impact into the community.
Please pray to see if God would have you volunteer your gifts to
this ministry.
Requirements:
- You must be a licensed and ordained as a
pastor by your denomination.
- You must be spiritually, morally, intellectually, and
emotionally qualified.
- You must agree with the the theology contained in
the Apostle's Creed and the Nicene Creed. (See Beliefs
page)
- You must be sensitive to the
denominational diversity within Christianity and though you will never be
asked to do anything outside your denominational beliefs you must be able to
provide for the free exercise of religion by all law enforcement members.
- You must have an authentic and Godly
concern for law enforcement personnel and their families.
- You must provide a brief testimony
of your conversion to Christianity.
If you have any questions, please
contact us. If you believe that God is calling you to participate in
this ministry, fill out the form below.
